Using the SAS Deployment Manager to remove the existing configuration of the SAS^® Data Management Console Middle Tier (Data Management Cnsle) does not remove the "Data Managment Cnsle Home Page."

When you encounter this problem, an error similar to the following appears on screen in the SAS Deployment Manager:

To successfully remove the "Data Management Cnsle Home Page," perform the following steps:

1. From SAS^® Management Console, click the Search tab.
2. In the Search field, enter Data Management Cnsle.
3. In the search results, look for this entry: Data Management Cnsle Home Page.
4. Select Data Management Cnsle Home Page, right- click it, and then delete it from the system.
5. Restart SAS Data Management Console to ensure that the changes take effect.

After you complete these steps, you are able to proceed with any new configuration.
